Pre-Config Nodes(Setup)
Guide to Pre-config Nodes by Nebula
Introduction: Running an Ethereum Node with NEBULA
In this step-by-step guide, we will walk you through the process of running an Ethereum node using NEBULA, the user-friendly dApp that simplifies the complexities of blockchain node management. By the end of this guide, you will be an integral part of the Ethereum network, actively contributing to the validation of the blockchain.
Step 1: Connect Your Wallet
To get started with NEBULA's dApp, you'll need to connect your wallet. This step is essential because it ensures you have a specific amount of $NEBULA tokens. The more tokens you hold, the more options you unlock within the dApp.
Click on 'Create Your First Node' to begin your journey.

Step 2: Choose the Ethereum Blockchain
NEBULA offers preconfigured machines for various cryptocurrencies, simplifying technical details for users. However, you can run only one node per wallet. For this tutorial, we'll focus on Ethereum.

Step 3: Choose Your Preferred Network
Now, you have the option to choose between the Ethereum Main Network and the Goerli Network. If you're new to this, it's a good idea to start with the Goerli or Mainnet.

Step 4: Insert Your Email
In this step, you'll need to provide your email address, where you'll receive all the essential information regarding your node.
After entering your email, click on 'Create node'.

Step 5: Wait for Node Sync
Nebula will automatically sync your node, but please note that this process can take some time, ranging from 24 hours to 3 weeks for a full sync. You will receive notifications via email once the syncing is complete.
Step 6: Deposit ETH into the Ethereum Deposit Contract
Now, while you wait for the node to sync, you can proceed with depositing ETH into the Ethereum deposit contract.
A. Navigate to the official Ethereum launchpad.
B. Follow the instructions, reading and accepting everything until you reach the 'Upload Deposit File' section.
C. Upload the deposit data provided to you in your email from the previous step.
D. Connect your wallet that holds the 32 ETH required.
E. Follow the steps to send the 32 ETH to the deposit contract.
After completing the deposit, you can track its progress by searching for your validator key in the beaconcha.in explorer.

Step 7: Run Your Node
As soon as your node is fully synced, you will receive an email notification at the address you provided. This email will confirm that your node is ready to run.
Return to Nebula's dApp, and you will see that your node is fully synced and ready for action.
Click on the 'Run node' button to start running your node.

Congratulations! You have now become an integral part of the Ethereum network, actively contributing to the validation of the blockchain. Your participation in the crypto world has never been easier, thanks to NEBULA's user-friendly dApp. Happy node running!
